No Covenants (Violent Delights Book 11)
The bloody aftermath of Agincourt brings about horrors the people of France couldn't even dream of. English King Henry V has his sights set on Normandy, and there is nothing he won't do to claim it. The city of Rouen is the last stronghold in Henry's bloody path through France. They should be able to hold out long enough for winter to ravage his army, or for aid to come. They will last 174 days. Trigger/Content Warning: grotesque violence throughout. Torture. Characters experience PTSD. Grief is discussed at length. Deeply unsettling imagery, and graphic violence. Animal abuse. Some mild crude humor. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed.Dokončeno
The Two Roses - Book 1
England, 1450. King Henry VI has been on the throne for almost thirty years, and has failed to live up to the legacy of his father, Henry V, the victor of Agincourt. His early reign was dominated by two uncles, the Duke of Gloucester and Bishop of Winchester, who were constantly working to overrule each other. Against Gloucester's wishes, a peace was brokered with France in 1445, and King Henry was wedded to the French King's niece, Margaret. Gloucester and Winchester are now dead, replaced as chief minister by the allied Dukes of Suffolk and Somerset. The English province of Normandy has fallen to the French and Suffolk, has taken the blame. With the threat of unrest in the kingdom, Suffolk is sent into exile on the continent. But the common people are determined not to be cheated out of justice... Updates will come, but may be slow going. This book is the first in a planned three-part series about the Wars of the Roses, what I'm provisionally calling 'York and Lancaster'. To be perfectly honest, I wrote this mainly for myself, so if you do end up reading and enjoying it, let me know. I have tried to keep the narrative as neutral as possible. If multiple characters have the same name, then the one who appeared second is likely the son of the former (e.g. after Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon, died in 1458, his son, also called Thomas, became 6th Earl of Devon). Characters with titles will be referred to by their title (e.g. 'Henry Holland, Duke of Exeter' will be referred to as 'Exeter'.
Merlyn's prince
Arthur fights a battle and is injured and a certain sorceress helps him. He shows her his appreciation. Now Merlyn travels to Camelot with her son and daughter a few years later to fill out the prophecy of the once and future king and the future of Albion. What Merlyn didn't count on was all the enemies she makes, the Prince she didn't think of falling in love over again and the adventure she gets dragged into. Follow Merlyn, Arthur the children and the knights in their fun. ( Merlin is female, and hopefully you find some good surprises in here) *tw* I don't know if this is a trigger warning, or if it needs to be, but there are spicy smut Content. Read at your own courtesy. **I don't own Merlin or any of the characters associated with the show**
The Southampton Plot (Violent Delights Book 9)
On August 4th, 1415, English King Henry V will execute three men. Two days later he will set sail for France to begin his historic Agincourt Campaign. The three men killed are accused of "imagining the death of the king", a charge with no legal basis. One of the accused is King Henry's former best friend, and for him Henry reserves the harshest punishment. Over a decade of lies and betrayal, ends sharply with what historians still debate being cold blooded murder. This incident will go down in history as the Southampton Plot. Inspired by true events. Trigger/Content Warning: Graphic violence throughout. A minor is sexually assaulted on page***. Many sequences herein could be upsetting, seek mental support as needed, see below for more information ***A child character is groomed and later sexually assaulted, this scene is show from the abuser's and victim's perspective. The victim does later retaliate. This incident is a major theme throughout the book and sexual assault is discussed at length, throughout. Another character implies that they also were assaulted. Alcohol use throughoutDokončeno
