Hunter, the son of the chief, finds a Nightfury egg months before a storm.

Hunter befriends the Nightfury that hatches from it, Thirteen years later he is told that his dragon, his best friend was unable to live in his home village of Berg and is told that Berk is completely Dragon friendly.

What happens when he gets there? who knows, not even i know but we'll find out together.

The first part of this story takes place before HTTYD 1 and the rest happens around the time of Race to the Edge
