Ellie doesn't really know what's going on. Not in life. Not with her family. Not in high school. And certainly not in French class. 
After all she's only taking the course for the credits... 
How could something as arbitrary as a French class completely change her life around. After all... Ellie has always had goals, specifically: 'To change the world,' but now, she might just know how to start.
