Callie was a normal teenager, all until she was in a massive car wreak that left her in a coma for months, she woke up an orphan. Her younger brother was the only one left other than her.
She doesn't remember the accident, she only knows what people have told her. That her father drove off a bridge into the river that ran around the town. The impact from the car hitting the water killed her mother and father instantly. She was also told that she was found on the bridge soaking wet and completely unresponsive. Now she is here, laying in a hospital bed, completely unaware of the world around her and left clueless as to how she was found on the bridge if both her parents had died instantly, and who, if anyone, had saved her.
She is now living with her new foster family, who had taken in her younger brother. Callie has to adapt to life now that she has been changed. She has yet to learn of the strange disappearances that had happened over the three months she had been in a coma, and of the new kid now going to her high school. Will Callie learn about the things that people are trying to keep hidden from her? Callie will become the last of the Young Renegades, even if she says no, there is no stopping it.
