A Reylo AU:
The year is 1930. People are starving. Rey is starving. She was abandoned at a young age and when she ran from the stifling orphanage, no one seemed to care, for it was one less mouth to feed. She made her home in the train station and made her living begging for spare coins, as stealing was against her moral code. She stayed in the station because Rey figured that since she was left at a train station, her parents might frequent the train station.
Rey's small delights in life came from the cat that lived in the station, imagining what her childhood could have been with different couples that come into the station, and her most favorite was to walk a block from the station and listen to the piano man.
He was an old man. Bad fortune and becoming deaf had made him cynical. Unlike everyone else at the time, he was well off where money was concerned. He cared for a nephew whose parents had gone under in the Stock Market Crash. They searched for opportunities for work while his insane uncle took care of him.
Ben hated everything about his situation in life. He hated his parents for leaving him. He hated his uncle for offering to take care of him. He hated his uncle for trying to teach him to play the stupid piano that he also hated. He hated that silly girl that always sat on the bench outside at 12:00 everyday to listen to his uncle play.

Complete (created 2019 Dec 31st) 🎉 --------------------- Rey, a common girl was raised by a Countess. She was taught to be elegant and graceful even though she had a knack for speaking her mind. Being that Rey was so truthful it was hard to get away from a many things. When she was smaller it was simpler but once she stepped into the path of a gentleman of raven hair and doe-like eyes she would be at a cross. What path was she to take? It became strenuous and even unremitting for Rey to even see him from afar after their meeting. She would find that she would be at worlds end if it had not been for their first meeting. She would not need to feel the self-struggle inside her to stay away from him. At times she wish she would've never met the man. But can she really deceive herself from what her heart desired? Will she turn away? Or will she face the truth? Along with the struggle of being hunted down by a long-lost grandfather she wished to never meet.Complete

Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. "You're going to marry Ben Solo." My grandfather, Ben Kenobi, pointed to a good-looking man behind me, and I found my eyes being glued on to him. I knew who he was; he was the "Number One Playboy" of our school. My grandpa noticed how I was staring at him, so he snapped his hands in front of my face, making me turn my head to face him again. "Why do I have to marry him?" I asked him, but not because I didn't want to, though that was somewhat one of my reasons, but I actually wanted to see how it would work out between me and Ben. I was confused as to why I'm marrying him. "Well--" He was suddenly cut off by a man who suddenly embraced him in a hug. I recognized the man as Han Solo, Ben's father, and he whispered something to my grandpa, then he nodded in understanding. "We just need our company to work with theirs, and so you have to get married to him, because you're both the next heirs of the companies." I was still confused.
