Horror's Story
Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read. It's perfect writing material, if tamed correctly. Compilation of stuff I wrote in 2015-16. I was 13 or 14 years old at the time, so it's interesting to look back on it sometimes. In the gloomy town of Deathmoure, located amidst misty landscapes, people possessed an unusual trait - they couldn't inflict death on anyone, including themselves. It was a pacifist's dark utopia but for my grieving heart of a white widow, it was a prison - a sanctuary of despair. Needing a path out of this grief-stricken existence, I began my search for a reaper who could aid in my departure. With the newly arrived reaper, broad-shouldered with a charismatic, sly charm that was hard to withstand, I found myself engulfed in a bizarre investigation. Mysterious events began occurring within our rainy town, pointing indirectly toward my mysterious reaper. Amidst this chaos, an unlikely sentiment blossomed within me - love. As the investigation deepened, so did the connection between me and my reaper. It was an unexpected twist, a cosmic joke. I was no longer an icy fortress but a hopeful woman, falling in love with the man who was uncovering the darkest secrets of the people around me. Winter and her two sisters, Alyssa and Nalla, finally accept the true nature of the apocalypse. but only when a zombie attacks, and bites one of their own. spoilers: I ran into the zombie, arm first, pushing it down before the woman was bitten. I glanced up at her, watching her run with a small smile. That is about the time i realized i was still wrestling a zombie. I looked back at it, but it was to late, it's teeth were wrapped around my arm, blood oozing from it's mouth. I held my breath to stop my scream, shoving the zombie away, jumping back with a small gasp. I am a zombie now. I felt tears spring to my eyes, and i let them roll down my face. For some reason, one thought went through my head. I need to hide.
