I am Paradox, and The Death Board is dedicated to me. It's where I tack up the hints on who my next victim is. Yet nobody knows who I am. And when they finally start piecing the puzzle together, I'll already be gone.

Two months into junior year and a murderer pops up in Sunset Ridge. And here I thought high school was gonna pass without incident.
I come to school one day, and sitting there in the cafeteria is a black bulletin board labeled "The Death Board." I assumed it was a joke and certainly the principal would take it down, yet one week later, it was still there and notes were starting to appear.
The first one said "Get ready for a new era," and it was signed Paradox. Following this, names started appearing, along with threats of who was going to be next.
Everyone assumed it was just a joke, until the first body was found in the sports shed next to the field. After that, the notes stopped appearing, and we all thought this was just a one time thing. Everything went back to normal, or as normal things could get after a murder.
Standing there, crowded around Snowy's body, we were all stupid to think this was over.

"Ms.Nottage" "Ms.Nottage" "MS.NOTTAGE" "One day I'm seriously going to kill her" I whisper to myself as I got up and looked Ms.Noble in her old wrinkly caked up face. "Ms.Nottage speaking how can I be of service to you today" I smiled a innocent smile that didn't reach my eyes. "Is there a reason your sleeping in my class?" Aren't teachers suppose to have sense at least common??I couldn't help fixing my face in disgust as she folded her arms pushing her breast up. "I'm positive that whatever excuse I give I'm still going to get detention." I stared at her blankly. I smirk as I watch the vein on her neck pop out almost as if its beeping. "Why do you have to be such a bitch?" I immediately notice the attention of the whole class on us. Turning my head slowly towards the bold speaker I said "Why do you have to be a nosy nancy?" The speaker rushes to his feet ready to attack his prey as if he didn't know I'll always be the predator. "Temper Matthew temper" I said shaking my head at him watching as he's held back by fellow classmates I have yet to know the name of, not that I tried. "We wouldn't want you to end up in a coma again now would we." "You know one day someone's going to beat you to a pulp." Shaking off his 'friends' when they realized he's calmed down all having a seat except Mr.Bold of course. "And one day your going to drop down dead" As if I'm a witch a bullet flies through the wall into Matthews skull and what do you know he does drop down dead. Looking down at his body and up at everyone's shock and disbelief face I say "Likes like I'm going to need a lawyer" And as if on cue the sounds of screams and bullets occurs around me.This is going to be a long day.Complete
The End of Summer
Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. Fifteen Markers receive an invitation to a mysterious gathering, signed by an anonymous writer. The letter states that the event is a deduction game - fun and harmless. All invitees decide to go anyway, what's the harm? Later on, everything seems fine. Sure, the creepy and broken-down demeanor of the House is slightly misleading, but the host gives off a light-hearted mood, speaking excitedly through the PA speakers. It makes everything better... Until the lights go off. Backstabbing, betrayal, murder, and drama occurs. The worst part is, the host doesn't seem to care if anyone's being killed off - at least, not as much as the actual participants do. When it comes to the final four, everything becomes more serious. Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. As the year goes on, some of the students realize: -A secret passageway may not be limited to only the house. -The school has a basement -Falling down a flight of stairs can save lives A supposedly dead student wakes up from a coma, people start realizing things, all leading to the final, seemingly unimportant clue, that closed the gap from arresting the wrong person, to finding the real murderer.Complete
