I kept running, breathing heavily and legs sore. The sky darkened as I kept running deeper into the woods. The footsteps behind me dying down. Tree branches scraping against my skin, creating bleeding scares.

"Ahh!" I grunted as I fell, crawling to a nearby tree, curling into a ball.

'Someone please save me.' I mentally spoke.

My eyelids began to be heavy. Just as I about close my eyes, I saw the silhouette of an animal. It stepped out of the shadows and stood in the light shining from the moon.
