Our own city did this to us. Abandoned us and left us here to burn amongst the ruins of another lifetime. Flames feed on any lingering history which once dwelt within the walls of this city. Chicago had a community; you had a sense of belonging when you walked through the gates. Now that is gone, all that is left is the debris of somewhere I used to know... unrecognisable now.
