This is a world where Sam is alone. Smart kid, of course, nice one too. He's got a friend or two, but not enough to keep him frequent company. At least, he doesn't contact them enough to do so. He hasn't seen Dean in years, as he's always mentioned going off hunting while Sam needs to stay out of. That being said, Sam isn't a hunter, no. Instead, he's a police officer, with a nice bubbly partner and nothing but cars and coffee.  Though, one day, upon a regular day's patrol, Sam stumbles upon someone who he learns claims to be the devil himself.
