Summer "The Phoenix" Jackson is on the road to the Olympics. After making a come back after a deadly car crash that took two lives and put her in the hospital for months, she is ready to take back her dreams and run for them. Summer had a crush on him years ago but gave up ever finding love after the accident. After almost having her dreams ripped from her she is determined to prove that all the hard ship her family had to go through wasn't for nothing. Now at 24 years old this could be her last shot as a first time Olympian. But with Shaun back into the picture, helping push her to come back stronger, Summer is left with no choice but to face her demons and go for the gold.

Tragedy will follow the two young Olympian on their journey. Trust will be tested, the past will reveal itself. It won't be easy, and Summer and Shaun will have to face some of the hardest things in their life head on. Gold in on the line, and everyone will stop at nothing to make sure they don't win.

This book takes place in 2014 for the Soshi Winter Games and only small details about the games such as the opening/closing ceremony and the women's half-pipe will be changed to fit this storyline. Only a few characters are made up, the rest are all Olympians and their couches and families.
Book 2 will follow them after the 2014 games leading up to the 2018 games.
