Hunter Dixon never had a normal childhood, she was raised by her two older brothers because her father was a deadbeat who drank all of his time away.

Alex Grimes lived a mostly normal life except for the fact that his father was shot and fell into a coma. Alex always tried to be the man of the house, he tried to play catch with his little brother Carl but his dads best friend Shane Walsh tried to take his fathers place.

One day an outbreak occurs and makes the dead start walking again. Will fate draw these two different people together?
