Kayla is ripped from her normal life when she recieves a leather bound book that reveals what she is- a Writer, one of the Four Writers in existence. She can bring words into being and make them true just by thinking and writing them in the book. But that's not all she can do- she has almost unlimited power, but nothing comes without a price. If she chooses power, she can never see anyone she loves again, and they can't know what she is.
