Phoenix Mallory is one of the toughest women in her field. Her field being a hunter of the Supernatural that is . She is a sarcastic, no nonsense , blunt young lady who has no problem telling a person where to go. At 25 she is already hardened by life as the result of the tragic death of her parents and little sister. The only person she has left is her younger brother Zander, and a few close fellow hunter friends. And she is fine with that. She has to keep it that way.
Then a close friend/fellow hunter is killed by werewolves . On upon arrival at the wake, her life is life is altered by seeing the Winchesters again, who she condensingly calls them, "The Backstreet Boys." What do these pretty boys know about hunting? Sure she heard they were ...okay hunters. But she is better. But as fate would have it, she becomes closer to Dean Winchester. She may have met her match with him. But she fights this attraction as though she was fighting a monster. There is no attachments in this business. Even more so for her. There are no relationships and no happy endings for Phoenix. She has a secret that could not only destroy her life, but the people around her, including the Winchester brothers. She knows she should have been killed a long time ago.
