But as I stood in the light, it is the appearance of my own shadow that was least expected. It turns out, the closer one gets to the spotlight, the bigger their shadow. --- Anakin There was a time when I believed in the Jedi. For a while, I believed in the Sith, too. If a woman brought down my faith in one, I suppose it is only right a woman would bring down the other, too. But, I'm better this time. Older. Experienced. Knowledgeable. I wouldn't give up everything for a woman again, right? Wrong. You see, with Padmé, I feared the danger she put herself in. I rarely encouraged her to fight harder, encouraged her use her talents and charisma. Sometimes I even disagreed with her ideals. And it is that mistake, among many, that I will not be making again.
