I wiped the tears away with my thumb and cupped her face. She smiled. God, that smile, gets me every time. I smile back. -------------------------- Anna believed in love at first sight. But meeting her true love on a bus? She wouldn't believe that. Zac didn't care about true love, he cared about pixel gun. A girlfriend? No way. They knew they were two parts of a whole. I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. He had his arms crossed over his chest, a gesture that could possibly get him knocked out in this place. He looked as though he could fake a tough guy but at heart he was gentle. Laurel meets Trey inside of a Juvenile Detention Centre and the two of them become closer than anything. For Laurel, Trey was the first friend in her life. But for Trey, he intended for Laurel to be his last. Trey is heartbroken when Laurel leaves the Centre and moves away from town, never to see him again. Laurel has runaway from her foster parents, changed her name and even the colour of her hair. She's created a whole new persona for herself and never wants to revisit the past, but what happens when the most unlikely thing happens? What happens when Trey moves in just around the corner?
