Karkat Vantas is one heck of an oblivious troll. He was forced to help his friends, Tavros Nitram and Gamzee Makara, get together. But Gamzee seems to have some kind of plan to get him into a relationship as well

He sets up a date for Karkat and his "friend", Dave Strider. Karkat then finds out his family thinks he and Dave are matesprits. He gets sudden jolts of excitement whenever hes around a certain someone

Karkat then starts to develop feelings for his friend. But as the oblivious character, Karkat thinks Dave doesnt like him. He knew he was just being a friend

He moves back to his hometown to try and get his life in check a bit, not expecting to make all of the friends he does on the way, as well as love interests. His life seems to get a lot better after he meets a certain shade wearing blonde named Dave Strider. The two quickly became good friends, both denying their obvious feelings towards one another, and just as they were starting to sort them out together, things just go down hill. In this AU, all of the trolls also live on Earth, and there's no SBURB. The ships is this are Davekat, Rosemary, Dirkjake, slight Erisol and Arasol, Gamtav, as well as a little bit of Vrisrezi, Davejohn, and Davejade I try to write more whenever I can!
