After weeks before Jack's return. They Inkling Octoling couple remain secret to the world. Jack has now been chosen to maintain power in Inkopolis from the Octarian menace. Keeping that a secret he teaches Jackie how to fight and defend herself. But Jackie suspiciously keeps an eye out on Jack. But a much stronger inkling traitor threatens to Splat Jack and take back Jackie to her old terrible life.....

Although, Sayuri doesn't know where he comes from, she has a feeling that he's hiding something from her. Yuki also runs into some familiar faces as well. Why does Yuki have a feeling he and Sayuri met? And why does Sayuri feel like there's something more to Yuki?
