She hopes to relieve herself of her stress and anxiety but when she gets there what ensues next is far from her intended relaxation. Is she spiraling into madness or is everything happening to her real? It's a strange life, indeed. ~~~~~ This piece is from my creative writing class. I was hoping I could share it with others who enjoy horror as much as I do. I am by no means an experienced writer, it's more of a hobby than an aspiration. I'm more focused on art than writing, but I do find it quite fun. I know there are lots of errors, most of I'm too lazy to fix. I hope all you nonexistent viewers enjoy!

A supernatural skeptic running a paranormal investigation. It'd be funny, if Danielle wasn't living that reality. When Danielle offered to help her friends film a ghost hunting show, she never expected the show's rapid success. Successful to the point of it becoming her full-time gig, and she was soon traveling across the United States to visit haunted locations with her friends. They curated their platform perfectly, gathering an audience devoted to their antics. Unfortunately, despite their talents, they were missing one thing. A real ghost. Resorting to tacky edits of spectral encounters, it was pleasing to their audience, but it wasn't the authentic paranormal experience they were looking for. With dwindling hopes of discovering a ghost, the show's team was ready to head anywhere haunted, no matter the risks. When new haunts ran scarce, they scouted an old haunted forest in the mountains. Secluded from society, the forest was a prime spot for ghost hunting. Years of learning about the paranormal, however, proved different from truly encountering it.
