Sena Mcginley was a beautiful child. Her dark blonde hair always had wavy curls and she had sapphire eyes that looked like they were made of glitter. She was smart, fun and a little on the wild side during her childhood. She had a lot of friends which included Jennifer and Bethany. These two girls were as much fun as Sena and were equally as beautiful. They were special to Sena but neither was her best friend.

That honor belonged to Grant Dalton. Her best friend since first grade. He was quiet and reserved but popular as the school quarterback. He didn't get into the drinking and partying as much as his teammates. Girls fell to his feet and that was his favorite part of high school. He had dirty blond hair, light blue eyes, his eyelashes so long he looked like he wore eyeliner. His six foot three-inch frame towered over Sena at five foot five.

The two met when Jake pushed Sena off the swings. Grant rushed over and pushed Jake down and helped Sena back on the swing. From that day forward he was her protector and best friend.

He had a habit of sneaking into Senas room at night and the two spent hours talking and laughing. She would give him advice about girls and he, of course never approved of her dating anyone. She was too perfect to trust any guy alone with her and this irritated Sena.
