They wake up in a nightmare - hundreds of people in another world where the rain never stops, and the sun never comes up. Everyday another one goes missing Now there are only six of them left. Six days to escape. But they don't know what is out to get them, and that they are always being watched. So this story is narrated by two different girls in different worlds, and their stories, Madison and Libby. It switches point of view each chapter. But At the beginning of the chapter it says the name of the girl so you don't get confused. Inspiration: There is a place deep in the woods that my cross country team runs to sometimes that we call "Ghost Town". I had a dream one night after running there and then I just wrote about the dream (adding a few more details). Cover: I made this cover myself with an app on my laptop called Picsart. Also, the image in the cover was taken by me and is of the real Road to Ghost Town. Language: I don't use any bad words in this story. Age appropriate: No adult-only content is included. I write this for everyone to enjoy!

Eight years ago... A chilling secret was buried deep within the government's shadows-a secret so immense it could shatter the fabric of reality. Earth was on the brink of a cataclysm, and only a few knew the truth. John, an elite agent, couldn't live with the weight of it. He chose to defy his orders, vowing to warn his family before it was too late. But as he reached out to them, he was caught. The truth was silenced. His desperate message, unfinished and lost, faded into oblivion. Present day... It's a quiet Friday evening. The sky is painted with the fading colors of sunset as Bucky and his friends gather at their usual spot-Sunset Hill. It's a tradition in their small town, a chance to unwind and watch the world slip into darkness. But tonight, something is different. As the last sliver of sun disappears, Clair's sharp eyes catch a strange red light flickering in the forest across town. With adrenaline coursing through their veins, they venture into the unknown, drawn to the mysterious glow. What they find is more than they ever expected. In the depths of the woods, they stumble upon a forgotten secret: a trail of clues left behind by someone who once fought to protect the truth. Among the debris, a letter was found with the name "John Ketterman" etched into it. Who was John? Why did he disappear? And more importantly, will Bucky and his friends be able to find his family before the end of the world? The answers are buried in the dark corners of their town, waiting to be uncovered, as four friends find themselves caught in a race against time... and toward an impending disaster that no one is prepared for. The world as they know it is on the edge of unraveling-and only they can stop it, if they can survive long enough to piece it all together.
