Meet Stella, a seventeen year old girl trying to pursue her dreams in a society where dreams are only for those asleep.
It's the year 2100 and things work a bit differently in the world, for starters, breeding is now an occupation. Minimum GPA required to become one? None.
A simple scanning of your DNA will determine how smart or not you are, if the results say you are smart, then you will be assigned a job in the workplace most fit for your genes, and if your DNA proves to be inferior, then they will send you home to breed.

No questions asked. No change of occupation allowed. And don't even think about moving out of your assigned place in society. Anyone who violates these codes will be dealt with individually by the Republic of the United Brotherhood.

Original Draft, not the rewrite | What does society choose to do when children start being born with magic powers? Throw them into a prison of course! That fixes everything. Except it doesn't. In fact, it makes things worse. When young girl, Stella Rophur hears about Project Sunshine, Stella went from keeping her secrets away from just people at school to keeping it from the entire world. The Sunshine Project didn't just bring darkness and strip kids away from having a proper childhood, it actually did bring some light into peoples lives. Stella never had many friends as a kid, she wasn't a very social child, but being at the prison and meeting kids just like her made it easier. It doesn't end there, more secrets about the program and just where these mutations came from are uncovered. Bringing out more darkness and light, Moonlight and Sunshine. Read on to see just how Stella's story unfolds... ~ "Who are you?" Stella asked, staring at the girl with the uncanny grin and red horns sticking out of her head. "I'm anything and everything... The only limit is fear." Stella woke up in a cold sweat, flicking on the lamp beside her bed. She ran a hand through her light blue hair, catching her breath. "Who was that girl? Why was she in my dream?" Stella thought to herself, dreams had meaning didn't they? There had to be some sense to Stella's dream, maybe Stella would find out if she had another dream. "I wonder if she has powers too, she looks like it. I'm not really sure if I want to find out, that was freaky."

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy.
