"Sit still Eli." My dad sternly said to me. With tears in my eyes I nodded and sat on a big bed. A doctor lifted up my shirt and I heard him sigh heavily.

"For the love of peat..." He said and wrote something down on his clipboard. My dad sat in a chair beside me, his face fell a little but he managed a small smile when he caught me looking.

"Your okay sweetie, you'll be okay." He said patting my arm. I choked on my tears and nodded. The burning sensation on my back was unbearable. The doctor then brought out a big needle.

"No!" I started, but my dad squeezed my hand.

"Eli, you okay,it has to happen, please, just this once." He said. No, that doctor is not putting that huge needle in my back ever again!

"No!" I started to yell. The doctor put it down and came up beside me.

"Everything is going to be alright sweetheart. Just look at your dad, you will not feel a thing." He said in a smooth tone. I nodded my small head and looked at my dad who had a smile on his face.All Rights Reserved
