This is a little short story that I wrote to see how I would do with writing, and will continually be updating. Please let me know what you think, so I can know if I should continue it. Thank you!
It was a nice fall evening, once of the nicest in a long, hot summer. The day was going perfectly, a little too perfect now that I recall it. My dad had finally gotten the promotion as Chief of Kiezer Police Department, and to celebrate we had gone out to breakfast at Denny's with my best friend Maddie. Then, just to make the day even more perfect, I had gotten the results from my ACT and gotten a composite score of 29, which would give me the chance to gain entry to University of Oregon. Just to make the day even better, and add the cherry on top, I was asked to prom by Tony Martin, my childhood crush. Perfect right? Only if I had known that perfect was just an illusion to shadow you from the horrible things that were to come. Then maybe, just maybe, my life might have turned out differently.
