I'm Matilda Reeves, not exactly a normal needle of the haystack, considering I attend Concore's Academy, a training facility located on the grounds of Whicoulder. I am Leader of my form, training to be the best among many others of my year, readying ourselves for battle in the field to protect the humans from Vascouls - deathly creatures that live off life essences - and having two mysterious sets of eyes watching my every move doesn't tickle my fancy.
Yet, why am I so different to the others?
What could possibly be so important about a snotty seventeen year old?
You tell me.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

I am Mariah Langsten, I go by May or Mariah. My friends, or the ones left would call me Mariah Carrie because how I could sing. I never heard it like they did. I am with two other survivors, My best friend Beth Greene, once the shit hit the fan I had no chance to find her. But once I finally got to their house. They were all gone, the barn was burnt to nothing, few walkers lurking and something that looked like their house. She told me a hoard got them and she told me about her group and what happened. It nearly killed me when she told me what happened to Hershel. He was like my second dad when we were kids. We cried for a while in each other arms. Then the other survivor was a guy I found on my way to Hershel's, which was over a 4 or 5 months ago. I lost count, besides his name is Andrew Winder. Him and Beth became a thing, but we decided not to tell her we've had sex more than a couple times. It was for comforting purposes, but we both knew deep down. It was defiantly for the hell of it, we haven't had any one sexually for a long time. I was 23, blonde hair and brown eyes, Beth was 21, blonde with blue eyes. She was so damn pretty. Andy (As I called him) was 25, brown hair and blue eyes. I had zero training before all this started, all I did was play video games, eat food and cuss at online players when they pissed me off. I didn't have much of a life. Never really had a good boyfriend, not even a decent. They all wanted me for my "perfect" boobs. Which I thought was bull shit because its just a piece of fat attached to my chest, ugh. I dropped out. I sucked in everything I was a horrible person, I was a waste of oxygen on this earth. Sometimes I wondered if I bullet would make a nice last meal. (My book Terminus is based on Terminus seen from AMC's The Walking Dead) (I do not own any TWD characters)

Dakini's Hope

29 parts Complete

I sense his hands move up to my blindfold and I quickly grab his wrists. "Don't...." I whisper. "You won't like what you see..." Dakini is a sixteen year old girl living in the town of Witherington; but her life is far from normal. Witherington is not your usual town - it's a town where the civilisation is made up of 99% werewolves; aside from Dakini and her mother. Or so the town and school believe. Enrolled in an all-werewolf school at the age of 14, Dakini has to deal with daily challenges ranging from being targeted by the school's top popular group to having to put up with a moody, introverted seventeen year old male who goes out of his way to annoy her and who has, apparently, killed a few werewolves and humans alike in his past due to his short temper. As well as these impossibly difficult social challenges, Dakini has the challenge of having to keep her eyes covered and out of anyone else's sight. Having been born with eyes that are supposed to come with a very powerful and dangerous curse, Dakini must keep her eyes hidden from the rest of the school to avoid discrimination, possible fear and isolation, as well as the government's threat to permanently "remove" any Black Eyed werewolves. So, when she is left with her back against the lockers, and her future hanging on by a piece of cloth; Dakini is forced to look towards one person to help her out and keep her secret... a secret.
