The Winged Dare [COMPLETED]
As teenagers, we do dumb things that most adults wouldn't do. Why? Well, because we're still 'developing'. We jump off of things and dare each other to do extremely stupid things. So, I ask, what happens when we jump off of something too high? What if we just happen to land wrong? We could break something. We could die. And the dares. Don't even start on the dares. The dares can kill us, too. It's the small town of Bellmare. How many suspects can there realistically be if something were to... happen?Abgeschlossen
The Choice
There comes a time in everyone's life when they are faced with a difficult choice. For most people, following your instincts is easy. You know what to do, and you know what not to do. But what if you were faced with a choice that is just not that simple. When your instincts tell you one thing, but your heart tells you something else. I was faced with just such a choice. While driving down a deserted highway. I saw a car on the side of the road. Not just a car, a police car. We all know the police are trained to take care of themselves, so I drove past without stopping, but something didn't feel right. What would you have done? **This is a first draft. Please excuse any mistakes there may be. Please do not comment any corrections. I will fix them when I do the rewrite. This is also my first attempt at first person point of view so please bear with me.**Abgeschlossen

"Then I'm doing my job," "Damn good one if you're in the top three." "Thank you, I know," I said. We were studying each other. His body in that tux looked delicious. His hair was styled differently, less slicked back, I liked this one more. He was practically looking at me the same way. Like as if he wanted me right now, on this table. "Why'd you leave?" He questioned. "Well, it was a one night stand wasn't it?" "No, we wanted to be friends. But since clearly now, were aligned, we can be more." He said. Definitely not. "No, Giovanni, you and I are just work partners. Nothing more. Don't get confused from something that only happened once." My voice was serious. I was serious. Now that I know who he is and that we're working together, I can't risk it. "One date." He said.
Tell Me It's Forever
"Hey," I get her attention as I sit closer to her. "We're doing everything we can to find this mob okay? You'll be out of this situation in no time." "And what if something bad happens," she looks at me wide eyed with those beautiful eyes of hers. Can never forget the colour. Hazel with little bits of green inside them. "Nothing bad will happen." "But something bad always happens to me. I have such a bad feeling about all this and my gut never lies to me," her voice cracks at the end. "It's life and death. Nothing ever good comes out of that." A lone tear slides down her cheek and she shuts both her eyes tightly, her palms squeezing the fuck out of her thighs. I quickly grab one of them so she can stop hurting herself and put pressure on my palm instead. "I need you to stop crying and go rest now. I think that would be best for you." "But..." "No buts. I know you're a strong independent woman that really needs to solve this and find out what's going on but stop okay? I'll take care of it." "Pinky swear?" She sniffs as she holds out her little finger and I find myself smiling at her. "Of course." I wrap my finger with hers. What happened next really surprised me. *** Liya Abrechtt, a popular girl at college, starting her career, straight A student, everyone loves her, her life is practically normal. Until it isn't. In the Arms of Danger
"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. "Who I am is none of your business," he said in a cold, husky voice that somehow caused me to shiver. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around. I hesitated a bit before turning around and for some reason followed behind him. ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ─── Ariana is a 26-year-old young lady, employed at a famous bar in New York City. The Test
Going through my pictures, I went to the one that I had just taken, and the phone slowly slipped out of my grasp. What had escaped my notice before is that the couch I had taken the picture on was against a window, which showed the backyard of the house. But in this picture, it wasn't an empty backyard. No, behind my smiling face was another one, outside the window. It was his face. Covered with a black ski mask, watching me. *** All 19-year-old Layna wanted to do was forget about the guy that broke her heart, and move on with her new boyfriend Brian.
