Nike is a weapon. She is what someone would call a Mute. Her DNA was artificially mutated so she would have characteristics that resemble those of a type of predator. She has been trained her entire life for a war that has yet to happen by the government. Suddenly, a group who disapproves of the idea breaks into the facility and tries to bring the government down. However, the only thing to be accomplished is the fact that they stole some Mutes in the hope that they can help them finish their goal. Now Nike has a choice: Will she trust the government or will she trust the people who taught her how to be a real human?
