Keith enjoys the little things. Living alone on an a small island across the water, he finds himself drawn to a canvas or a notepad. For years this is the life he has come to know, but when a new visitor finds his way onto the little island, he creates a new world only he and Keith can discover.
(Story Inspiration)
Based on two trips I took recently, although (sadly) I did not fall in love on either of them. One trip was up north to the woods, where I saw the stars and fireflies clearly for the first time. And the other was to an island where I met a woman (Keith's character inspiration) who made mosaics and planted pretty pink trees with her husband .

As humans, you have to fight irrelevance. There are seven billion humans on Earth, approximately. Every time someone dies, someone is born to replace them, to mask the pain of loss. You, as one person, do not exist to around six billion, nine hundred ninety-nine million, nine hundred ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred ninety-five people, if you are truly loved by five persons. Luck of the draw, life on Earth is. At least, that's what the human species chooses to believe. Now, knowing more alien species exist than human races, Lance feels suffocated. He has to fight even more for that little bit of relevance, to get acknowledged.
