The Devil's Swing

"Just do as you're told!" his deep voice boomed.
"You can't make me!" I shouted back.
He held up the card, and threatened to burn it. I shuddered, and slowly nodded my head.
"Very well."

"Come on dude! We gotta hurry up before the others make it!" I shouted. "Or you-know-who is gonna kill us!"

'My brother was worried about something. I didn't know what, but he could always sense when danger was near.'

'Something about the new girl bothered me...'

'He was right. Right all along.'

'I can sense that she is hiding something. A wound, an injury of some sort...'

He was just trying to save his and his brother's lives.
He was worried about his older brother.
He was diseased, but didn't trust her.
He agreed.
He knew something was wrong.
