Maya is new in town and just wants some friends. She does not want to get involved with the resident Alpha Bitch, Alyson, or her boyfriend, Jason, no matter how smart, funny, and charming he is. Her life is not a cliche, and she knows better.

Or she thought she did.

A humiliating prom night and a kiss later and Maya is realizing something is not right. She knew guys changed once you got to know them, but smart and charming Jason is gone and in his place is an angry a bitter Land demon. If it weren't for him though, Alyson and her dark teenage messiahs and prophets would destroy Maya's very existence , wiping her from the face of the planet as easily as throwing away an hold homework assignment.

Maya's not going down without a fight though. She just wants friends and she will keep them, damn it. She just didn't think she would have to destroy the school to keep them.
