Rachel and Finn have been best friends since they met in preschool, but now their in high schools and so much has changed
Finn is the quarterback of the football team, super popular, and is dating head cheerleader Quinn Fabray. His life is perfect, all except for not having his dad in his life. He may see all happy, but when no ones around he gets really depressed and starts drinking or smoking.
For Rachel her life isn't great at all. She get bullied everyday, by all of Finn football friends. But she never bothers to tell him because she knows he'll get angry and do something he'll regret. Rachel does have two other friends, Kurt and Mercedes. But when their all in glee together Kurt and Mercedes notice Rachel always staring at Finn. And sometimes they see Finn staring at Rachel, so they have a plan, to get them together because they know that Finn doesn't really like Quinn since all she does is boss him around, and they know how much Rachel cares about Finn. But what would Finn and Rachel getting together mean for their friendship.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
