Bruce Wayne will stop at nothing to keep Gotham safe. Even if that means ignoring his own mental and personal needs. Maybe that's why he ended up escorting the Joker straight into the Batcave instead of an Arkham cell.
Maybe Bruce really is crazy... because as the days go by he starts learning more and more about the madman in his proximity, and he even begins to care more about him.

But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it.
