"Listen, you idiots. We're grouped together. There's nothing we can do to change that. We should at least try to get along. Mark, you and I may not care about our marks, but Joey does, so we have to respect that. Got it?" A nerd, a dumb bully and a con-artist are grouped together for a research assignment. It sounds like the start to a bad joke. When two of them can't stand each other, and the other is always acting mediator (when she's even around), there's sure to be a lot of arguing... and not much work done. Can they get past their differences to get a good mark?

Lizzie and her friends watch TV shows, superhero movies, read classic books for fun, and they don't really talk to a lot of boys. Like in classic nerd stories, there is obviously that one group of boys that bug them... A LOT. But when "that group of idiots" gives Lizzie a piece of crumpled paper with her name and a cellphone number on it, they don't seem to be messing with her. What boy would want to talk to Lizzie after ignoring her all through high school?
