Danny is a young man with dreams of having his very own handmade sweet shop. Though, his dream seems to be the only thing he's got going for himself. His boss has been taking credit for his work for years, but he can't afford to find another job. His high school sweetheart recently left him to pursue a full time music career, insisting it was for his own good. And to make matters worse, his younger brother Gavin practically barged into his already small, run down apartment to attend a nearby college.
In all his thirty-three years, Danny has never felt so stuck--and a hot-headed decision to quit his job turns his barely stable world upside down. The break-up with Gabriel was hurtful, but it made him realize that he doesn't have to be left behind. This was his chance. The first step is the hardest, but he could make it work. Right?
