"y/n..." Lisa said gently placing her hand on mine, intertwining our fingers.

I hum in response both of us not taking our eyes off the stars.

"do you know what you remind me of?"

"What?"

I look at her but she still doesn't take her baby brown eyes off the small flickering lights in the sky.

"those beautiful lights in the sky that shine like no other light I know of" she smiles finally turning her head to face me at the end of the sentence.

"but what about the sun?" I ask.

"sure that may seem to shine brighter but that's so hot it's capable to kill what ever gets too close to it. and obviously you don't kill things" she laughs. "you're like the kindest and most gentle person I know"

I giggle along with her. we both then lean onto kiss, once our lips touch the same shivers go down my spine. the same as our first kiss. I wonder why. I haven't felt that in years...
