Jack has walked the earth for eons. A very long time.
He has met a lot of people, loved a lot of people and watched all of them die or left them behind eventually. Then he forgets.
Whenever he looked back, he saw all the nameless tombstones and journal pages that had become mile markers. He was extremely sure there was a reason he didn't die and a reason why he wandered.
He....just....couldn't............. remember. He saw the whole world in grey. Nothing seemed to add color. Until his satin black motorcycle made a stop at Yellow Pines and he saw her face.....
When you wander the whole earth, you eventually come back to where you started.....

Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is.
