There are no stars in this sky, there are no people but us two. It is empty, quiet yet loud. The loneliness bites into my skin, a constant reminder of what it's like to not be loved by the only other person around. He screams at night and I listen to the sound of it travel through the castle, through the waves of the ocean, through the very peak of ecstasy in someone's mind.
We were tied, him and I.
Doom, was I.
My saviour, was he.
Yet we couldn't have been any more destructive together.
He promised me forever. The sun and the moon were bound on keeping that promise.
I had a pattern in life.
Be born, at the age of 18; disappear, climb the mountain, drink the poison, die, and repeat.
But then he came into my life, took it to be his.
Promises. That's all they were meant to be.
But it became a curse, one that wasn't meant to be unleashed.
