wherever she went, the stench of dunhill international and filter caffeine followed. she did not fit into the picturesque family portrait of the Smiths; she with her brunette hair and Brazilian heritage. or so she thought. but maybe having platinum blonde hair and blue eyes was in fact not the only criteria of being a Smith. maybe the requirements were a little less shallow, like having a deep love for the arts and being family-oriented. and maybe Francesca's flaws was what made her piece of the Smith family puzzle fit perfectly.
