This is a Star Wars fan fiction inspired by the last movies. In these case, around Ben Solo and Rey after TLJ, and their journey of discovery about the true meaning of balance.

Also, this is my first attempt to write directly in english. Happy to hear your thoughts about it.

(AU) Luke is gone. Kylo Ren is the new Supreme Leader. The Resistance is all but decimated. Now, all responsibility falls on Rey to balance the Force and bring an end to this war. But as a relatively untrained Jedi, she will not be able to find balance in the Force when she cannot find balance within herself. With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit. There are many items and powers that exist in TROS that I personally do not feel make sense, so they will be omitted (The dagger, lightspeed skipping, Anakin's saber, to name a few). This story follows some of our favorite characters from the Star Wars franchise and some new faces too. May contain graphic content.*

"You already know the answer to that," she sniffled. *** The Force knew Rey was to be in Kylo Ren's life just as Kylo was to be in Rey's. However, both individuals prayed and hoped for very different outcomes. Rey wanted nothing more than to bring Kylo Ren back to the Light. She wanted to show him the wonders it provided and the life they could have if he returned to her. Kylo wanted to bring her to the Dark Side. He wanted to rule with his bride by his side. Rey must help rebuild the Resistance on a desolate planet in the Outer Rim whilst Kylo, as newly inaugurated Supreme Leader of the First Order, desperately hunts her down and the remaining rebels. But fighting their conflicting feelings towards one another puts them in a compromising situation. Whilst the Galaxy remains under the imperial control of the First Order there can be no peace and light and dark go imbalanced.
