Anna of Achaea was the daughter of King Physcon and Cleopatra. Her beauty had been told through all of Greece as many had wished to bed her. She was strong of heart, often being called "Ánna i léaina" by her men. Since the fall of the Sasanian Dynasty nearly 6 decades prior, a young general had been rising through the ranks. Many had believed Mark Antony was a great general, one who took pride in his victories and always sought vengeance for his defeats. Anna and Mark knew each other very well from prior encounters, they both served under sister kingdoms and had stood in for their kings for peace accords. Anna hadn't ever liked Mark, he had a sharp tongue and an outdated belief about women. One night the tides of battle change, Mark sets out an army against Annas' in the dead of night as they pass through a neighboring area. He feigns ignorance, claiming the light of the moon distorted their flag and he had been sure it was that of the Geraki. Anna knew better. Her advisor and lifetime friend, Sebastian, warned they should make haste for Achaea. He feared Mark was planning to do something horrible to her and knew that they were safest there. Impenetrable walls overlooked the sea, from their outposts they could see as far out as the city-state of Athens. But Mark had other plans. ---- Please note, this is a fantasy. Though there are remnants of history in it, it does not depict historically accurate information. Total Word Count: 38,929

TW: this book will deal with triggering topics. If you are easily triggered this is not the story for you, thanks. (Book one in the Starlight series) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── Danika Archeron was born in the shadows. Always looking over her shoulder when her family wasn't looking. She was their protector even if they didn't know it. She had been training as an assassin and warrior since she was eight years old, and yet her family had never suspected a thing. What will Danika do when she's spirited away to Prythian with her little sister, surrounded by the creatures she'd been training to kill for as long as she could remember? ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── I cut him off my smile unfaltering, "Think before you speak, the last male who didn't lost more than just his tongue." I know both High Fae caught the wording of male, instead of man when their eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch. "Is that a threat?" Hissy asked. "No," I replied, "It's advice." ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── (Also!! just an FYI Danika is largely inspired by Manon Blackbeak, so that's why I used some of her fanart and such. I also might include some of Manon's abilities like her nails, cause I feel like that would be fun. ) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── ACOTAR fanfic- OC x Rhysand This book will finish ACOTAR and the next book will be ACOMAF ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── DISCLAIMER: All characters go to Sarah J. A Kingdom Forged in Blood. A War Born of Lies. A Destiny Written Beneath the Moon.** For ten long years, the Noble Houses of Devraen and the Tribe of the Sea have drowned the North in frost and fury. What began as a single act of violence has become a war of pride, grief, and vengeance - a war no one truly understands. When the battlefield falls silent and the last embers die, Meher - the fallen heir of the Tribe of the Sea - must kneel before the king he once swore to destroy. With lives bleeding out behind him and his honor in chains, he accepts a bitter truth: Sometimes, peace demands more courage than war. But Devraen is not built on mercy. Beneath golden crowns and sacred banners, shadows move. Truth is twisted. Allegiances rot. And a serpent in black armor smiles beneath a borrowed light. As Meher and Amane uncover whispers of a hidden force - one that fueled the conflict for its own design - they must choose: Serve the kingdom that shattered them... or expose a darkness ancient as the snow, patient as the sea. Loyalties will break. Secrets will rise. And the North will learn: Not all enemies wield swords. Some wear crowns. Some offer peace. And some... are born in shadow.
