He caught it. A young girl walked up. She looked at him curiously. "Thanks." she said. "Your welcome." the young turtle said with a smile. "I'm Skye." The girl said. "My name's Raphael." He answered. April O'Neil: So, you wrote a book... Me: A long-ass book. April: A long-ass book! How did it come about? Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? Me: Exactly. The sequel. I'm on it. April: Do you want to give us a little teaser? Me: Well, there's still Leo and his complicated relationship with my heroine. Angel is the type of girl who wants to get into the action of things. And when she moves to Manhattan, she gets her chance to explore. But, one night when she's hanging out on the rooftops, she comes across a man who calls himself "The Nightwatcher" and over time they begin to be friends. One night, she walks along the streets of the city and gets confronted by her friend, the Nightwatcher, who needs a favor. But, the problem is, she figures out he's a turtle, and she's in for more than she ever bargained. And has feelings towards two specific turtles. What can she do when she has a crush on two different turtles, and can't tell either one of them about it? Read to find out! This story is based on the TMNT 2007 movie. Contains some of the movie, but not entirely. It is my first TMNTFanFic so go easy on me about how it's done. Shouldn't be many grammatical errors. BAAMMMMM!!!!!!! An explosion erupted from Donnie's lab and a thick orange cloud spread across the lair. "Donnie!" three turtle brothers and their father ran through the fog to find the one that caused the explosion. When they got to the lair they found him crawling out from under his now broken desk. "Sorry guys, I accidently put in the wrong ingredient." Donnie said bashfully as he got up. "As long as we are alright it is fine my son, but I believe that this shows that it is time for us all to get some sleep before something else happens." Master Splinter told his sons, giving a pointed look to the second youngest. The boys bowed their head to their father and complied with his wishes. They exchanged short 'good nights' before they went off to their own rooms, not paying any mind to the orange dust that covered them. That night, all five of the mutants fell into a deep sleep, their bodies slowly transforming. Their shells disappearing. Their green skin becoming pink. But on that same day, someone came to his station asking for only him as she is threatened to be killed by a mutant that killed mutant females. Leo felt something off as this person said her boss sent her to Leo to protect her. Leo didn't know what to think as he just accepts to watch her as well as do the mission Rebecca had him and Mikey do that was to get this mutant killing the mutant females and know a human... And to finally face the one that shot him and made him the way he is now. What will happen to Leo's life know? Who is this girls boss that sent her to Leo? And most of all who tried to kill him?
