Gemma Davis was abandoned a few weeks after her birth with nothing more than a blanket and a paper with her name on it. If growing up in the complicated foster system was hard, it was made even more difficult by Gemma's odd ability to let her see and experience things that were not 'normal'. After realizing her ability allowed her to see and be connected to the world of the supernatural, Gemma tries to suppress the ability. 

In the year before she fades out of the system Gemma is transferred to Ophelia's home and after a rather interesting incident she realizes her new home is a home for 'troubled' supernatural kids.

As she tries to acclimate to her new life with the supernaturals around her, make long lasting friendships, and handle her abilities; Gemma begins to uncover the secrets of her abandonment and her powers, while enemies begin appearing from the shadows.

As Gemma tries to protect her new family, she must also confront the demons of her unfamiliar origins in order to find her true self.
