Roommates (Klance College AU)
"Alright, fine. What's there to talk about?" "About us. This... tension between us, it was never really just about 'rivalry' was it?" Lance's breath hitched, his usual bravado faltering under Keith's intense scrutiny. The realization of what Keith was hinting at - what he himself had felt but never acknowledged - began to dawn on him. ** Freshmen Keith Kogane and Lance McClain start their journey at Garrison College as dorm roommates and instant "rivals." With clashing personalities and ambitions, their college life begins on a rocky note. However, as they navigate the challenges and pressures of freshman year together, their antagonistic relationship starts to evolve. Voltron: Legendary Defender but s8 is better this time
Basically season 8 never happened but a LOT of Klance happened. Bonus: Allura never died. Matt still has long hair. Adam was found. Hunay, Veracxa, Romelurra and Adashi happened. Shiro is a teacher at the Garrison. Hunk owns a restaurant. Coran telling weird stories to children. Kosmo still best boy. Keith meeting Lance's family. Adashi wedding. AND EVERYONE IS HAPPY!!! (I concentrate a little bit more on Klance than anything else, I think) This story is also on Ao3 with the same name as here. (My name on Ao3 is allPanicAnd_noDisco)Complete
