Understanding .|. The Outsiders x Reader

OKAY SO back earlier in the year I read The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton for god knows what anymore and it's like!!! super good. So I was like 'hey, maybe there are some x readers out there' and sure enough, there are. But none of them really caught my attention, so that's what I'm gonna attempt to do. Keep in mind that S. E. Hinton owns the book and its characters, and you own yourself. I also own partial plot because the book is taking place as you jump in. }

{ Another reminder that you need to read the original book!! Hinton wrote it, so go buy it offline or listen to the audiobook maybe??? I mean give kudos to her bc she brought all our favorite greasers to life.
Also your like...a teen in this book and this is a platonic reader insert bc it just helps plot im sorry,,, SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO LETS GET ON WITH THE SHOW }
