This is just a weird oneshot I came up with after talking with my Australian friend about a dumb headcanon I made up.
Australians are not human. They're actually half lava sprite, which is how they survive the heat. Full lava sprites take in less fortunate humans as their "roommates" and try to protect them from the heat.

we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) • everyone's personalities are the same. He taught you on how to fight using combat skills and by using a sword, to protect yourself in the near future. He found out that you are a special demon that can conquer the sun but instead of leaving you behind, he still cared for you like no one else. You having a unique combat skills and dwelling using a sword to fight against demons have reached the leader of the demon slayer corps, Ubuyashiki Kagaya. He invited you to become one of the demon slayers and to fight the demons by their side, not knowing that you are actually a demon yourself. And this is how your life began to change.
