When Virgil lifted his head from his hands, he locked eyes with Princey. He looked shocked and afraid and a million other emotions that swirled together in a jumble of curiosity and confusion. Virgil calmed the panic in his brain quickly enough to stand. "I-I'm just going to-to go..." he whispered, suddenly more interested in his feet than Roman's face. He made his way to the door a few feet away, ignoring the sound of movement behind him. "Virgil, wait!" Roman grabbed onto his wrists, stopping him. Instantly, the anxiety bubbled up inside of him and Virgil's hand began to shake. "Please let me go..." He mumbled, the sound barely audible, even in the uncomfortable silence that hung in the room like smog. "Virge-" "Please..." A single tear dropped from one of his eyes as he squeezed them both shut as tight as he could.
