When Lux's Master, Grinshawl; an ancient immortal demon king, invites her own kind she despises the most; the werewolves, to one of his social political events' parties within his castle and plans for her to meet the wolves and let them help ease her uncontrollable sexual urges throughout her mating season.
Lux is beyond enraged even though the men are keenly interested in her, yet confused about her twisted alluring scent. To them she smells like a wolf but other creatures also.
Sad thing is Lux has a strange ability to shift into more than one Werebeast (a paranormal being able to shift into one certain animal with uncanny abilities) when she touches them by accident or on purpose.
Yet to make matters even worse, she surprisingly ends up dropped off at the Evergreen Pack's territory by her master's subordinate, Keenan; a lower ranked demon. That's when she meets the Pack's dominants again: Rishka, Silas, Rowan, Vinnie, Ion, and Logi.
What the hell is Lux going to do with the men if they decide to take advantage of the situation and corner her? And what's up with the jealous female pack members, out to get her to make her leave when all she wants to do is get the hell out of their territory yet the stubborn males drag her back, intimating and pissing her off?

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
