Mavis and her partner Nixon aren't the best of friends. At all. Now, they didn't sign up for this job. They are only 16, what do they know about Spying? Now, here's the thing, what they didn't know is both of their dads worked together and died together doing the same thing they do. Let's back up a bit. Mavis Kurroff, she's the kind of girl that you want to be around... only when she's in a good mood. She gets angry easily, and it's hard to calm her down. But, she is a good student in school, a good person in life, and is pretty popular. She has beautiful brown, natural wavy hair and sparkling green eyes. Nixon Groddes, He is a strange character. His personality is well, odd. He's a nice guy, once you get to know him. That's the problem. He works better alone, and prefers to be alone. He can be stubborn, obnoxious, and never thinks before he acts. Ever. He has jet black hair, that's cut short, but it's not buzzed. His hair is curly too. He has those dark brown eyes that just make you feel uncomfortable. Their mothers keep it a secret for a while but, as soon as they turn 16, the truth will come out. Will these two ever get along? How will they react when they figure out they are the keys to world peace on this earth? Find out in this adventurous tale of friendship, acceptance, character, and truth as our strange team unravel to find the true meaning of life.

I look at California. She sits on my lap in the circle of us pot heads. She's not what I expected. She smokes she's the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's smart but hates school. She's a girly girl who hates dresses. She defies logic in so many different ways I expect her to sprout a horse tail and start flying. Heck when we first talked Tuesday she called me handsome and looked confused herself. She acts like she has no secrets, and maybe she doesn't, but there's something different about her. She holds confidence yet she's shy. She smokes even though she's supposed to be the typical good girl. I'm determined to find out what she's hidding if it's the last thing I do. "Baby it's almost one am." I say glancing at my phone. "We should head out, your dad already dislikes me." She turns back to me and nods. She lightly stands up and walks to the door but waits for me to walk with her. "Trevor!" She yells in her friends ear making him jump away from her other friend Greg. "You get a ride with Mar okay?" He needs and foes back to his public make out session with the other boy leaving Cali with a look of approval and bewilderment. She clips her hair over her shoulder exposing the skin of her upper back due to the low dip on the back of her dress. In the split second I see the skin I think I see a black crow with a green eye, but that's crazy. Only crow members can get crow tattoos and only descendants of the original crow can have the green eye. By tattoo that's on my lower back has a red eye. The red eye means non blood related member. But I have a smaller one with a blue eye beside it. The blue eye means leader. When California's biggest secret is discovered by her new boyfriend will she be able to keep her past and family secret the secret she wants it to be? Will the secret tear the couple apart or push them closer together?
