5 friends studying at UBC travel deep into the Arctic Circle to the isolated Melville Island and record the species living there. It's all fun and games until they can't find the way back to their tents. In the heart of the tundra, the crew laughs, talks, and argues. The main character Adam has a complicated past with his parents and a difficulty getting his journalism career off the ground, but the sequence of events that follow changes everything.
