A Werefox and her Alpha Mate

My name is Lucille Grace Hawkins. I was born into a wonderful family, but they all were killed in a rogue attack. I was the only one left so I thought.
I was only fourteen at the time, I hadn't shifted yet. My spices are called Werefox, we are cousin to the werewolves, we are very rare, there aren't many of us. When I turned sixteen I shifted, my kind do have mates like werewolves. Information about my kind is below. I hope you enjoy my story.

The werefox are more common in China and other parts of Asia. Similar to the other moon children, a werefox's powers are at their peak on the night of a full moon. Unlike werewolves the werefox are not pack creatures and either live on thier own or with members of their family.

A unique trait to their species is their dependency on the life-force of others in order to maintain thier fox powers; similar to a succubis or incubus a werefox can drain a person of their life-force (though they don't need to do so through sexual intercourse). An older, more experienced werefox can drain just drain a little bit of energy, but a new or young werefox may accidentally kill someone they drain.

When lacking power a werefox is more or less human but can still be hurt by the weaknesses of their kind. They can only shift if they have enough power or on the night of a full moon, which they draw power from. The moon can replenish a werefox of his or her power if they have no energy.
